The St Mary MacKillop Icon was lovingly created by Miranda and Vanessa; and expertly drawn by Miranda. This icon brought us great joy, as St Mary of the Cross MacKillop is our first Australian Saint known for her love of children, particularly those who were struggling.

She is depicted in front of one of the Australian bush schools she
established to educate children in the bush and is framed by Golden Wattle,
the floral emblem of Australia. When she was canonised in 2010, a new cultivar
of red Bottlebrush (Callistemon) was cultivated and released to the public in
her honour. These flowers fill the foreground.

Now you can have your own copy of this beautiful St Mary MacKillop icon.

The replica has been carefully printed onto water-colour paper. For postage purposes it will be rolled in a cardboard tube for safety and preservation.
